Inaugral 4x4 Earth Aust forum outing *date change*

What good is a 4WD forum without organised 4WD trips??

I would like to propose the inaugral (spelling) 4x4 Earth Australia trip.

Since most people are around the SE Melbourne sububs, why not lets go exploring Bunyip State Forest?

Meeting place
Sunday 24th Feb 9:00am at the BP Longwarry Roadhouse
Cnr Sand Rd and Princes Hwy Longwarry
Enter forest via Forest Rd Labertouche

Trip grade
Dry - Easy
Wet - Easy / Mediumish / more fun!

Required equipment
Basic recovery gear
Lunch, drinks, sense of humour, family
UHF radio - CH 15

Any takers?
Please reply, don't be shy!

Hi Nick,

Thats an awesome idea but the 4WD Show is on at Wandin and the 4x4earth crew will be exhibiting out there.

If you want to move to the next Sunday, we will have a couple of extra bods out for a drive :)

Sounds like a lot of fun.

Cheers,

James

If you can move it to the next weekend, I will be there as well. :D:D I am always in for trips like these,:) I am on the Mornington Peninsula (Near Hastings), so that would be great for me.

See Ya There. :D

Hey Centaur

I have moved once already as Wandin 4wd show was on. I'm tied for the 1st weekend of March, then long weekend away somewhere...:)

Might have to keep it where it is for now, see what other interest we get.

Nick
I'm 15km from Lang Lang with a clear view of Bunyip Forest from the back porch:)

Maybe we can get something happening in South Queensland

I'll join you if you want to get something organise. Perhaps a day run to Cityview. I don't think we have many SEQ members on this forum yet. I noticed in your sig line that you owned a 90 series prado. We have a trip organised for Mt Mee next sunday 24/02/08. Here's the link Click here

No. Its a world wide forum. This trip is planned for anyone that wants to travel to S/E Victoria as a lot of us live this way.
Feel free to start another thread if you want to organise a local trip up there.

Hi JG

There should be some spare seats if you can get to the meeting place. There's plenty of parking there to leave your car for the day.
