Theres a Toyota Hilux 4:3 ratio rear diff centre lockright locker for sale and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the standard ratio would be in a 1996 LN106 4x4 2.8 turbo please. I'm running 15 inch rims with 31's tyres if this helps. Would that diff centre be suitable for my setup? Thanks in advance.

Theres a theory that that goes like this.....
2.8d engine - 4.3 diff ratio
2.4d engine - 4.5 diff ratio
petrol engine - 4.8 diff ratio

It has proven to be accurate for me so far, and Ive read this elsewhere too.

But this is only for factory fitted centres, so if the centres in yours have been upgraded, or replaced with other ratios, this theory means nada.
