There is also a great 4x4 track that goes from Freshwater all the way up to Rainbowbeach via Poona Lake. Poona lake is a great swimming spot in Summer. The water is an amazing red colour due to the teetree's in the area.
Freshwater campground provides shady, sheltered sites set amongst scribbly gum woodland about 500 m inland from the beach. It offers formalised camping with defined sites.

Location: 8 km south of Double Island Point along Teewah Beach or approximately 40 km north of 3rd cutting on the Noosa North Shore.
