Casuarina & Turpentine Camping Areas

Campsite Description

Easily accessed off Watagan Forest Rd, set amongst the eucalypts and turpentine trees.

Casaurina is better for larger groups, as there are larger clearings, whereas Turpentine is alot smaller, and better for more secluded camps. Turpentine gets very muddy after rain though.

There's a number of picnic tables and open fire BBQ's available. However, the only toilets are available at Casuarina.
It's an easy walking distance to The Pines, which has a number of bushwalking trails, including Abbotts Falls, and the Pines Trail, which passes by a smaller waterfall and a waterhole. If you're game, it

Lots of 4wd tracks out the back, and the trail bikes use them alot, which can mean a bit of noise.

But in all, a very nice, real bush set, camping.
