Cheers. The LED lighting really lights up the car of a night time. just have to replace the bulb in the rear cargo area with an LED light from supercheap.
The problem with the GU's is there is really no space to put a UHF radio particularly the Icom unit as it is so big. The roof console gets it up out of the way. The Icom UHF has a speaker on the front of it so its at head height so its definitely nice and loud.

Yer I know what you mean still not sure where to put mine. I've only had mine for a few months and still have a ton of things I want to do.
Can I ask where you got the console

So Friday night took my car to my mates work. He is a mechanic and the boss lets him use the workshop after hours.
Installed a Hayman Reese towbar and an ARB CKMTA12 Twin compressor under the driver seat. I am quite impressed on how it turned out!

Nice, neat, and great use of the space.
Must be really helpful having access to a proper workshop, (he says not trying to sound too envious

Sorry re. double post .. very, very long delay in accepting original post made me think I hadn't hit the send key originally!
I suspect the problem is really the popularity of this site.

your going to be underwhelmed with the flex because you've still got standard sway bars in it. remove your front one altogether (you wont notice a difference what so ever). and extend the rear sway bar links the same amount as your lift height increase. this puts your rear sway bar back into its original and best operating angles. also extend your front brake line by buying a newer longer rear line and moving the original rear one to the front. the front lines are pretty short......

another helpful little tip. get some rock sliders now before you bash in the sills..... the standard stuff is good for nothing and bashed in sills on a gu look terrible

Nice mate. Mount the compressor inside your car, or keep it portable. Under the bonnet is a pretty terrible place to mount them - they get smashed with water, dust, heat and mud!

Rock sliders are definitely on the list. Everything else has been done before hand though.
Next three items are raslarr rear bar, seat covers and sliders.
In regards to removing a sway bar, I've thought about it, but I'm trying to keep the vehicle legal for insurance. Also it has sway bar extensions. My previous rig was a solid axle hilux which was highly modified. I ended up selling it because I was worried I would eventually get defected or if I was in an accident I'd be screwed. That had 4" lift, 2" body lift, 33's, highsteer (major defect...no chance of reversal).
Ideally I would love to run a 3-4" lift on my patrol. But until the law changes that probably won't happen any time soon.

at least grab a set of front sway bar disconnects or there really wont be any flex from the front ever......

Recently whacked on some Roadsafe Front recovery points. Drivers side went on with no issues. Wasn't so lucky on the passenger side. The horizontal bolt hole had to be slightly enlarged as it did not line up.
