Nice looking spot, where ?
The shoreline looks great with the green bush and dark water.

Came up the NSW coast today, but too windy to fly.
Did a short flight at Gundagai Tuesday arvo though.

Used a DJI Spark for this, borrowed, so nothing too flash as I’m not used to it’s flying or filming characteristics.

I saw my first MA the other day when my brother in law brought his up.
Not a bad looking drone.

Just watch the air intake at the front as it sucks crap in around the camera to the intake.
Mainly an issue if taking off and landing on loose ground, dust, etc.
BIL has a brush he uses to clean it if necessary, but when on suspect ground is starting to hand launch and catch more now to ensure it stays clean inside.

Got my Mavic Pro back in the air today for a test run (after my first major crash and repair), just threw it about a bit and tested all flight maneuvers to ensure all ok, and it seems fine.
Will review pics and videos later to see if all that is AOK still, then start to put it through some real flights again, s l o w l y, I still need to be sure it will perform 100% when I fly over water (which I normally do a lot).

Nice spot mate.
NZ would be great to tour and use a drone.
I'd only just got mine before a 28 day trip there bushwalking Feb last year, and besides the facts I was too green with it, battery charging issues, and the weight carrying, I knew the parks there ban them outright from use.
Shame, but I can understand why, people (including us) go there for the peace and quiet.
Still, load of places to fly them outside of their nat parks.

Quick video from the weekend at Chinaman Wells near Port Victoria, South Australia
Had intentions of shooting more but only ended up getting one flight in

Interesting Luke as there is Chinamans Well down the Coorong too.
No doubt named for same early Chinese migration to the gold fields of Victoria.

You’re getting the hang of the Mavic pretty fast mate.
You have the pro or platinum.
Nice Red.
I live flying coastline myself.
Though flying anywhere is good.
What drone do you have again.

And where’s that campsite.
Looks interesting.

Getting there, need to do it more often as you get pretty rusty when you dont fly for a few months.

Its a Pro with platinum props

True especially in the first year.
I too have the Pro with Platinum props, damn it’s quiet :) :)
In fact I have a Spark too, BIL has an Air, son the Phantom 4, and the Mavic Pro is much quieter than them all, the way I like it ;)

I’ve got the mavic air.

I was running a polar pro filter also

There were 2 different groups of campers. Illegal camping
Good size and features red.
Yep filters are a must for video, and can help with pics once you know how the can help there too.

Ah Victoria coast ?
