I'm a firm believer that you need to give a big shock to whoever has been in power for more than about 6 years, they start to get stale and game the system. That means voting for a minor party that will direct the preferences the right way, or vote for the opposition, especially in your own electorate to make it more marginal.
I lean to the right economically, and to the left for the environment, and the LNP has failed Australia IMHO on this issue.
Ideally I'd vote for a party that was like the greens but without the loony policies that come with them, like compulsory drug dealing for everyone, injection rooms next to schools and over the top economic policies. And try to decipher their antivax stance. You'll need an enigma machine it is so deliberately vague.
Where is a right leaning party that has responsible environmental policies. The National party should be front and center here but are fighting the wrong cause.
