whats the best product for boiling water in firebans

like the titles says, just need something to make coffee while camping
the gas cooker we use takes forever to boil water
usually use the fire during winter but need something for fire ban times

i should note
if its suitable, i might use it for cooking pasta etc as well
but the main priority is keeping the mrs caffeine levels up or the mornings her inner sea hag comes out

Maybe one of these would do the trick. I keep mine plus cup, coffee, sugar etc in a small esky. Works for me
Yes they are great for backpack based use & they are quick to & not just good for boiling water, you can put a small pan on there & cool snags of bacon & eggs even!

I’ve been using this Gasmate unit for a couple of years now, I like the Iso butane/propane mix for colder weather and the butane canisters fot warmer weather when they work, you cover both options for less than 60 bucks.
You don’t need anything to light it, just turn the knob and presto.

I have day box that’s ready to go with coffee, tea etc ... I leave my Coleman 533 at home now

I’ve used everything from bigger plates to big saucepans on it.

The little butane or LP burner stoves work pretty well for boiling water but it depends on what you are using on it. I find a billy to be pretty slow but a small kettle with spout work quite well as they are closed and they have a rim around the bottom to capture the heat better. I also fill it using the cup I am using for my coffee so I am not trying to boil too much water.
The kettles are cheap too

This is the style I have https://www.anacondastores.com/camping-hiking/camp-cooking/cookware-utensils/campfire-4l-whistling-kettle/BP90033115

I stopped using straight butane canisters a long time ago as the majority of my camping is in subzero/alpine areas during winter.
I still carry the mix for my mini burner although I also have a bernsomatic propane canister I can refill as well.

Don't put so much water in it. Total fire ban day you should be able to make 2 cups of coffee in a couple of minutes on a cheap butane burner. Big diameter and shallow water depth is the go. You don't loose the heat past the kettle.

Yeah so did i mate, gave 2 away around 10 years ago
But as you can use both canisters (not just propane) the round Iso butane/propane mix is better at lower temps but not as cheap as the propane canisters.

That’s why you take a couple with you ;) and only use when the butane canisters won’t work, well that’s what i do anyway.

Camping i take the Primus 25000btu duel stove.
