Western Vic cruise

After having to cancel multiple trips this year due to Covid restrictions we finally had a chance to getaway for a few days before my partner starts a new job.
We wanted to explore Western Vic (central and southern, too hot up North). Our plan was 10 days of traveling taking backroads and preferably dirt where we could.
First night was a quick dash after work to Redesdale pub, they allow you to camp at the pub, then up to Lake Lonsdale at the Grampians. Temps were getting really high so took off after a tour around and stayed in Mortlake. Next day was some touring them an over night at MacArthur before heading towards Casterton for a couple of nights.
Back over towards Budj Bin park for a few nights and then to Camperdown to check out the craters. Then back home via Creswick visiting family and a few tracks through Wombat area to finish of the trip. Was great fun, the old Disco had zero issues over 2,400 k and while slow towed the pod over anything we threw at it.
