Hey can I talk about my Corolla here?

My first 2 cars were Corollas.
Anyone else learn to drive in one of these beasts?

That's a KE-10. Gold. My first car too. A 2 speed auto, low and go.

Flat out hitting 80kph and had mates pushing it uphill more than once (had 8 in it).

Old man put a 5speed box in it that improved things dramatically. Then I hit a pole and bent the chassis and wrote it off

Non-Genuine Replacement Parts

A while back I broke my rear passenger side tail light (Prado 150). A genuine replacement was quoted at over $700... I found this website that does replica parts and gave them a go - Express Car Parts

The non-genuine tail light is extremely close to perfect and was $300 including shipping. Just wanted to share for those that would be fine with saving money by replacing with non-genuine toyota parts (they do also cover other makes and models also).

They are Aussie owned and operated and were really great to deal with (I am only a customer and in no way affiliated with them or anyone working for them).
