This is spot on and proof we are being lied to on a massive scale .

Regardless of my thoughts on the importance of the decision itself, I 100% agree with this one. It is completely inconceivable for there not to be a paper trail to follow to determine where the advice came from and who made the decision. Nobody needs to recall or remember anything, they just need to check their records.

It's as good as there going to give.
The dan supporters can't and won't handle the truth.

I seem to remember at the start of this whole thing that Dan stood in front of the cameras on several occasions and stated that he was making the calls and he would be accountable and that why he set up an inquiry , he has now forgotten all that plus the fact that we have any civil rights.
This is all becoming more and more like some kind of social experiment , maybe that should go in the conspiracy thread but the state of Victoria is on a trajectory I never thought possible so who knows

You want to talk conspiracy theories?
I'm pretty certain McGowan over here in WA is doing his best to set the state up for seceding. He's now saying that WA won't open up the borders until all the other states have recorded 28 days with zero new cases.

A little Humour for those of us in lock down. God help in the Dictator gets his Omnibus legislation through. No doubt more pay offs to the upper house cross benches and then we will be in the socialist republic!! Hopefully the language is not too rude to get deleted. It is humour after all and how a lot of us feel

My guess, there's very few getting tested. So we'll scare monger people into getting tested.
School holidays and most people recon its over approaching this sunday, is my bet.

The numbers are very low I think I heard this morning. I'm not sure if it's because people are over it or people don't want to show a higher number of positive cases but whatever the reason is the numbers are lower.

My brother in Warburton is in the same boat, not one case there or even close to there as far as I know and locked away as though there are people dead people lining the streets

Back on topic, it is quite amusing that NOBODY knows who made the decisions regarding the quarantine fiasco... I would have thought that bureaucrats may have briefed the Ministers with what they thought would be the appropriate course of action, but it is up to the Govt to approve or reject those suggestions, whether that be the full cabinet, but more likely just the 7 senior Ministers making the decisions in regard to Covid. Maybe the Premier made the call on his own, who knows....

In regard to 'accountability', maybe a few Departmental heads will be held to account, or be the scapegoats, but the only way the Govt could be held accountable is at the next election. In saying that, Victorians generally seem to forget very quickly mistakes/dodgy deals made, whether it be Labor or Liberal, & just think; " Whats in it for me right now". Some may remember that the NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell lost his job over a bloody bottle of wine that he didnt declare for christ sake....
