inland from moruya you come to an area called bendethra, beautiful country with some great tracks and camping areas, and it appears that over the long weekend a group of yobbos in 4wds and bikes tore up the area really badly , damaging signs and completely destroyed a national parks info shelter. Of course national parks would like any info on these likely bunch of d#ckh##ds and make them pay ,I believe a few 4wd clubs are offering to help restore some of the damage which might see us down there shortly .

I hope they are caught, seen jackasses like before on Moreton Island some years ago and was happy to help the rangers to find them. Make them pay for it and removal of the licenses may help also in cases like this.

What F'ing B%$£"!^s these people are, Why are some people so mindless, it gives caring and considerate 4WDers a bad reputation. I hope they catch them and ban them from every National Park in Oz...

It's quite obvious to me some of these so called people were born without brains, it's also a pity they were born gutless too otherwise when their brainless actions occur they might have the guts to own up and face the consequences of their actions.

I think they have had 1 too many bike stacks!
It is unfortunate that they use 4wd's to get to where they want to play with their bikes, because it is the real 4wder that cops the blame for the damage.

This is a universal problem, why would you trash the bush ??? Why not just stay at home with your own trash. I went to Coopers creek after about a year of being there, it's a big area but I noticed all the bush/small trees ,have been cut back for about 3 metres inward, for improvised fire wood !!!

DONT MESS WITH OUR BUSH SCUM BAGS !:mad::mad:

Hey Guys,
I'm keen to give a hand - where can I get any info on what to do and when...
I'm good with tools and can do reasonable builders work...
I would be able to go there in about 2 Weeks time Saturday and Sunday...
Someone else keen for that? could we make up a repair event???

Cheers

Tom

Yea - no worries - anytime I can...

I have to adjust that therm - next Weekend or in 3 weeks time -
but however i think we should make that up

- these kind of people are responsible for tracks getting closed,
- these people mess it up for the whole lot of us - thats not fair!!!

... don't they know what wonderful gift they got with that freedom to go 4x4 driving?

in some country's you are even not allowed to have a bull bar - or to drive on public roads with your muddies on...

we all should work on keeping the freedom to do our 4x4 with no major restrictions....

cheers

A show of solidarity from the responsible members of the 4x4 community is not a bad idea, far better to be a vocal MAJORITY for a change so that the vocal MINORITY dont win by default.

That is a SPOT ON STATEMENT!!!!!!! To often, the LOUD minority win due to the "normal" majority, just being slack!!
