Anyone who has spent time with Eddy at his Elim beach home at Cape York will be no doubt saddened. He made it to 95 Y.O.
My family was privileged to spend time with him being guided, taught local ways, fishing, being shown his special places (including where he was born not far away), cray diving and most memorably watching his skill with Woomera and spear - he was lethal.
A true gentleman.
RIP

Never had the privilege. Another passing of our Australian Story.
Rest in Peace.
