Never built one but converted one from my GU Ute to the GU wagon.
Looks easy enough to do. 12mm ply and a few bits of timber.
What are you planning on covering it in?
Actually I lie I built one for an series 3 landy i had. But that was a piece of cake - it was all square and nothing to really fit to.

ive got a few ideas in mind, riped out some pics from the 4x4action mag ,
should be easy enough out of timber.Thats my specialty
gunna cover it with marine carpet, i think its the closest match to the interior of the truck.
will post pics when i get around to doing it and you can tell me what ya think.

That looks great, well done...
I was thinking of attempting the same thing formy 60 series, but I am going to wait until I can find someone with good wood working skills, I am good at spraypainting, wood skills are lacking.
But you have given me hope, I might actually attempt it...

mate your not very far away would you consider doing one on comission thats great think of a price you might make a good side line

haha i actually joked about that while doing it
once ive finished mine and know what it takes to do the entire job i have a think about it.
but its not an easy quick throw up unfortunately.
mate if it was easy we would whip out some mdf and wack one together ourselves it dont look easy
