Camp friday night at Woolshed Flats (there is one river crossing with gravel base - can be soft)
UHF 26
As some of you know a while back we organised our first working bee with NSW National Parks. We had a fantastic turnout and managed to knock the work over in about half a day and spent the remainder of the time touring around and camping.

Even more recently we had our 1st annual NSW gathering at Turon River National Park.

We camped at the Diggings, but some may have noticed there is another camp further down called Woolshed Flats. Recently there has been some damage to this campground (mostly wheel rutting off track) and the plan is to repair this. We may also be involved in some track clearing, so chainsaws in the national park are OK for this trip.
Plan will be to camp somewhere nearby on the friday night and arrive at the work site around 8:30am. If we get the kind of numbers we did last time it should only be a half day's work again, after which we will do the 4x4earth thing and go driving to find another camp. Most likely there will be a sunday drive too for those interested.
We have begun to build a relatively solid relationship with NP's in the area and I hope we can continue with that. It's this sort of thing that keeps tracks open.
Obviously being NP there's no dogs on this one but all other family members are welcome.
The Blue line leads to both The Diggings and then Woolshed Flat (bottom of pic). For those that haven't been before it's around 15-20 minutes out of Capertee.
