He's a anal retentive Africana Toyo #1 Fan Boy sooking up .
Its not like its something serious , get over it , he was going to replace the discs anyway .
Dunno what the issue is ?
Yea id agree with that. No doubt it happened (especially from my own experience) but just deal with it, its a wear item on a vehicle that gets used in rough off road situations. Dont need to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Besides Brakes and Discs have always been and will be classed as wear and tear items non warranty items (with anything cars or bikes)
If they &^$%$ up get new ones .
Nothing will change and its hardly internet shattering news worthy even though this prick carries on like a BMW owner .
Maybe Phil @phs should start his own boob tube channel on important stuff that really matters to Toyota owners with real warranty issues , not this crap :)

Yea if he did 9k km on road only and the discs were like that you might have an argument but how can you prove it was not sand etc

I spent $2k on a clutch on a cruiser with 30k km on it and didnt go winging, was not fun but what can you do - even if i won the argument with the dealer they are still going to put the same junk back in.

yep

he could make it more interesting to watch, thats a good starting point.

No need to drag something that can be said in 2 min to 30 mins
But he's a tight arse Internet Star , that pulls weight ( much higher above straight to the top ahead of normal $ paying customers) these days apparently :D

I wonder what he will do for a cheap 4x4 when Toyota tell him to F off
Definitely won't be a Mitsubishi lol , maybe Land Rover would be keen ?

Should have easily gotten 100,000 plus with a combo of off road and on road and on sand most of the time brakes don't get used a lot mainly just as you come to a stop as the sand pulls you up also most driving in on road for the average vehicle. Just shows you the more you spend on a new vehicle doesn't mean the parts are better. Not sure if it's that relevant these days with modern vehicles but old school usually have good engine braking and if driven like a 4WD not a race car they will last.

My thoughts were the same,

I changed all my 79 disks to DBA T3 slotted and never looked back chalk and cheese

But none the less he paid for something that was clearly substandard and they just refuse to Admit / rectify it
