Triton Tyres and wheels

Hi All,

New to this but have a question for Triton drivers. I have 1998 Dual Cab and have just put steel tray on back. I am looking to put new mud tyres and wheels on. I just tried some goodyear wranglers on - 265/75R16 but they are exremely close to the back of the front guards. Anyone know a quick fix for this? Also would like to know if anyone has tried the new wranglers which have a dual pattern tread (I think they are called Kevlar). Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

Hi Nick, you shouldnt have any problems with that size, my '05 GLX-R MK series came out standard with them. The thing to check is to turn the whells to see how close they get to the guards and also to flex the suspension as much as possible. We also put a set of 31 inch BFG muddies on one of the work Tritons (97 model) and there is plenty of room for the slightly bigger tyre.
