Toyota Prado 90 series, 1998


Good Points
Very comfortable on road and off road.
Petrol motor has a lot of power.
A very underated car, which has gone places it's big brothers have as well.

Bad Points
If driven hard the fuel guage needle heads south fairly quickly.

What mods have you done?
2" lift, springs and shocks. Poly air bags in the rear springs, Safari snorkel, Goodyear wranglers At's 265/75/16, Dual batteries, cargo barrier, rear parcel shelf, spotties 4 on bullbar & 4 on roof racks, uhf & am cb radios.

What mods are on the list to do?
Winch & Steel bullbar, Arb Air Locker.

Why did you buy this vehicle?
It fit down the driveway with out having to fold the mirrors in. the 80 series was to wide. Comfy ride. Power for towing.

How often do you go offroad?
Not as much as I would like.

What will your next vehicle be?
200 series Landcruiser

Gotta love the Prado's

They'll go 90% of where the big boys go, but being the size of a large sedan can use as the daily ride as well. Having the 2" lift you should go 95% of the places.

I have the last of the 90's 2002 and very happy with it too.

Nice Truck. good to see more Prados off road, I mostly see them being driven by housewives on highways.
