Why did you buy this vehicle?
My 1998 dual cab hilux was to small for my tribe.

How often do you go offroad?
not enough, mainly used for touring.

This is when "migaloo" first came home, allready fitted the lightforce and the UHF.

Then it was off to the whaling station to have an operation

Hand made rear wall was done.

Window fitted and rear wall support

A bit of paint on the inside.

I wanted it to look like a HILUX ON ROID RAGE so i got a 2007 Hilux SR dualcab tray, witch was cut and 150mm added to the center, then shortened by about 175ish mm, then the wheel well will be cut and widened by 50 a side to match up to the body

All cut up and welded back to gether.

In this pic you can see how much wider it had to be.

Stage 1 and 2 are completed (cab cut and the 3" lift)
New rear window even came with a toyota sticker

The fuel filler flap is from the 105 rear cut grafted on to the hilux tray as they are in different spots.

Tail gate came up pretty good as it was widened in the center.

In this pic you can see the the wheel well are different that the hilux ones, they are from the 105 cut aswell as the wheel wells are wider on the cruiser that the hilux, so on they went.

Then it cam back home after the tramatic experience and got a custom cover made for the tray (there is a bit of timber under there as i didn't have the bow made yet.

And my new second hand rims are on, now just have to wear out the tyres that came with them so i can get some bigger ones (came with 275/70/16)

Picked up a brand new still in the box Safari Snorkel from Binskins 4WD Center for $330 (ordered in for a customer that never came back to get it fitted)

The tray was off to do some minor adjustments like remove about 10ks of extra wires
Then the windows got tinted.

My young bloke loves it aswell, you can also see in this pic that there is a slight difference between the body and the tray, but it is fine with me.

Canopy getting made (by me) it came from a single cab tray back hilux, cut down about 1000mm in lenght and 150mm in width, new perspex made for back and side windows and i cut the hole bigger in the front so i could use the saftey glass for the front window

It looks a bit out of place but ha, it works and can fit heaps more in than the wagon and it can be locked.

I changed my mind, some MTR's came up at a VERY good price so i got them instead of the FC11's like i was going to get. I allso got 2 new rims for spares (6 rims all up)
Take one of these.

Add one of these

And you get lots of these

And as it sits today

And that is my 1 year build in under 2 hours

It does look like a Hilux on roids.

All it needs now is a 4x4 Earth Sticker on the back.
