Good Points
pretty good creature comforts. spares reasonably available off the shelf.

Bad Points
temperamental electrics. ie. speedo throwing wobblies, rear window opening only when it decides to ! IFS ( its ok but could be better)

What mods have you done?
3 inch suspension lift. front lockrite locker. 31 inch simex centipede MT. extra interior power sockets for fridge etc. UHF radio. doubled up on recovery hooks ( its a surf... i need em !!!) swaybars cut off and filed in the garbage bin.

What mods are on the list to do?
body lift. rear locker. snorkel. k & n filter. bigger rubber.

Why did you buy this vehicle?
wanted a hilux dual cab but liked the extras in the surf. praps im getting old but i like the electric sunroof, windows and mirrors but i agree more to go wrong if the electrics get soggy !

How often do you go offroad?
about once a month

What will your next vehicle be?
not sure when budget will allow

sure thing, dont mind sharing pics of the old girl but not sure how to post pics in here yet and not sure if i have to approach the moderrators first ( dont wanna get offside with anyone !! ) im pretty happy, whilst giving the front locker its maiden voyage a 19 year old in a stock surf told me "man... ya motors sick mate !!! i think that means good !!
