Last week with not much happening around the place I needed a project to keep me occupied so it was decided that I would make up some drawers for the back of the cruiser.

Firstly I needed to decide what to make them out of and 12 mm 5 ply seemed the way to go mainly for cost/ weight and the ease it is to work with.

Next what I wanted them to look like and what I want to put in them. once that was decided it was time to get to work.

2 days later this is the end result for a total cost of $250.00

I didn't take any pics during constuction as I didn't think of it at the time but here's some photo's of the finished product.

The draws run on pactene strips to help with ease of sliding and works quite well the pactene is positioned against each other to stop the draws from sliding out crooked

Later on I will be making some more boxes to fit under the side windows for some extra storage
