You mentioned this is spoa, did you need to do many extra mods to suit this?( brake lines etc) how much did that all cost roughly? That is one nice rig, i like it very much! second only to my Feroza!

Doing a Spring Over converion not just modding one or 2 parts you redoing the hole suspenion and steering

cutting off the front and rear spring perches and making new ones weld them on top of the diff inverting the rear shocks steering cant use standed have to go to a Hi Steer thats just a couple of things i can think of the top of my head atm theres heaps more involed doing a SOP

Got to be 110% sure you want to befor you start no going back once you start a mate of mine found out the hard way with his FJ45

what a beast !!! ... i want to go down this track one day (when i come into money) doing it all yourself would give you a sense of pride to rather then the pansies that buy one fully decked out then just drive it to the beach and back

whats the spooling range on the turbo? and what sorta PSI is it gonna push?

yeh for sure, pride is the word. im not afraid to have a go. when pockets are empty, it inspires you to do things yourself to cut back on costs. and it skills ya up in the process.

the turbo spools pretty much as soon as i tramp my foot, so far im only running 10 pound boost, and will up it depending on the fuel and EGT's

Very nice mate, should sound sexual when its done!

well done im envious haha, ill hopefully get to it one day

sound sexual! if a low flying jet sounds sexual then it is haha. The old farm truck is now running 16psi boost and lots more diesel. Diesel/Gas injection is working a treat now and comes in at 4psi. i have to take 1st and 2nd gear really easy now :D

for those who weren't at otooles, this is the latest mods:

i chopped up and modified the ARB bar, cut the sides off made continued the bar all the way down. this gives it better side clearance and approach angle and still has the frontal protection of an ARB bar. Fitted a WARN 8274 hi-mount winch. put 2 10000lb recovery hooks on the bar and put a ARB comp spec winch hook on it, as the hook the winch came with was vary small and didnt have a safety lock.

hey bainsy, sweet looking rig you've got there.
desrves a definate 10/10.
would you be able to do me a favour when u get some time please?, measure the pipe lengths for your snorkel (both the bit that runs along the guard aswell as up the pillar) as i've got some pipe already at home but not sure if it's going to be enough to do it. thanks
hope to see you out on the tracks soon

Hi Shane, Thanks! I cant measure the tube lengths as id have to pull it apart to get exact measurements for you, and i don't really want to pull it apart. I didn't even measure it when i made it. i just cut the tubes to a bit longer then needed, then just marked the length with a Texter. Do you live in jerralang?
