I OWN A 2005 RODEO WHICH HAS A TOWING CAPACITY OF 2000kgs.IS THERE ANY WAY POSSIBLE 2 INCREASE THIS? AS THE COLORADO AND DMAX HAVE A 3000kgs CAP--- I WANT 2 BUY A CARAVAN AROUND THE 1750-1800 kgs TARE (TOILET/SHOWER) TANDEM WHEELS 18'. FULL VAN NOT A POP TOP.
I DON'T REALY WANT 2 UPGRADE THE VEHICLE IF I CAN GET AROUND IT.

Is 2000kg the tow bar rating or the vehicle rating?

There "can" be a difference.

What Rodeo is it? Diesel Petrol manual auto?

HI justin thanx 4 the reply.
My rig is a 2005 turbo diesel manual.
Tow bar rating is 2000kgs, ball rating 200kgs.
Tare weight is 1760kgs
Vehicle GVM is 2900kgs.
GTMR is 4900kgs.
