I figure after a year it's time to post hehe
Starting at Ayers Rock thence to Wiluna via the Old Gunbarrel Highway. This was the first leg and I pushed on to traverse the Canning Stock Route.
In general the track was overgrown on the rarely traveled section and slow speeds and care were maintained to save the gear. Following the Len Beadell spoor was amazing, you just can't help wondering how tough those track makers must have been. They got the job done and I imagine how satisfied they must have been, until they bulldozed another, and another hehe
Weather was dry and mild, the wind was up for a good bit of the time which meant I hardly used the drone having only had it a month or so and being the new chum I thought I would get some easy experience in before I hazarded it.
