Sydney south/west loop trip?

G'day guys, been planning on how to dabble in a bit of touring to test the Patrols new setup that isn't too remote/hard until I make sure there's no little gremlins that could leave me stranded and just wondering what you think of this is as a shakedown trip, and has anybody done anything similiar?

You can stay at the Lake at Wallerawang for free instead of Lake Lyell. It's a nice spot with toilets and showers.

Yeah I have a spot on the Lake in the National park in mind, or on the coxs in Lisdale, both free, but will sus out Lake Wallerwang as i have never been thwre before, cheers

I thought you were paying at the dam. Wallerawang is civilised like a park so maybe no good. It's got 2 pubs a short drive away though.

Nah i try to free camp away from people where applicable, just easier in the long run
