Should he have done that? Sorry only have very very basic mech experienceDid they change the rubber bushes when they installed the lift kit ?
If not there probably under tension in a new position causing the squeak.
only 6000K's the car is pretty new.How many klms on the original ?
You might not change them if there in good condition, and reasonably new. It's going to vary, based on how the vehicle has been used and maintained.
The car was new this year...will do have some at home...Thanks mateYou wouldn't think they would need replacement, how many years old ?
I'd give them a spray of silicon lube and see
If they quieten down.
Will do thanks mateI’d start with silicon spray not WD.
just do a join at a time to confirm what’s making the noise
Mate so annoying. will lose and re tighter the UCA rubbers and silicone first. Then will look at them but shouldn’t as newI had same thing
Replace the strut rubbers at top and fixed
The squeak was so annoying lol
If your not 100% sure, using a gopro or similar mounted in or under the wheel well may help find where its coming from.Actually don’t think it’s the UCA. Newish hilux and new suspension. Not every bump just a big squeak and the bigs one
