When the clutch was replaced, I hope you replaaced the Whole thing and not just the plate. Ofen if you hold the plate with oily mits will cause probs. may even have the plate on back to front

Quozie's right. It could also be a worn thrust bearing or pressure plate. With the car idleing, depress the pedal in and out. You may a slight rattling noise. If the bearing is worn, it may not be running true on the input shaft. Try if can to lube the bearing and shaft WITHOUT

Quozie's right. It could also be a worn thrust bearing or pressure plate. With the car idleing, depress the pedal in and out. You may a slight rattling noise. If the bearing is worn, it may not be running true on the input shaft. Try if can to lube the bearing and shaft WITHOUT getting on the pressure or clutch plate. Also, depending on the 4by, if the clutch is hydrolic, the slave cyl. may be damaged or worn. That's where I would start. Use a small screwdriver or O-ring pick and pull the dust seal off the slave. If it's wet inside, just replace it. Always start with the easiest job first! Then crack a stubbie and think about it for a while!!!!

It may need adjusting as the clutch plate wears. I had to do that on my brothers 60 series Toyo and on my Mazda RX3
