Belts, hoses, coolant, radiator sealant, air filter, fuel filter, oil, tyres and water (for the beast) would be useful.

Expect more to come from other members. May be worth creating a useful items for a long trip.

Best advice i could give is to take the fourby to a workshop that specialises in pre-inspections for these kind of trips. It will definately cut the list of spares you need to carry down and also potentially save your life. If it is an old car then your bill might be as much as 5 grand but whats a life or the life of your family worth.

Don't forget to take a copy of the Emergency Form on the O'Tooles thread and fill it out and put it in your glove box in a bright envelope and clearly marked "In Case of Emergency" along with a first aid kit

Assuming you have the correct maps, and communication gear, you will need belts, hoses, puncture repair kit, spare shocks, spare fuel, water (for both you and the 4B), tools, the list goes on and on, but the best advise I can give is whenever you get a chance to fill up with fuel, take it, (even if you only need 1/4 to 1/2 a tank), if you can get fuel in the bigger towns it is much cheaper than in remote areas, always play it safe.
