Small shots but good to see .

Yeah, a bit small. I used 'Web Page' compression. The last lot, and the rest are bigger - 'Document' sized compression.

Leaving Brachina to head out for 'drinkies' at Parachilna.
Here comes a sip for these hardy plants
One moment the 'rain', the next minute, the wind and the dust!
I smell something good!
Your turn Lyn!

Good pics Millsy

Was worried about you. Hadn't heard much from you

Catchin' up on my beauty sleep(s). They didn't work!

Hope your trip home all went smoothly. I reckon you two would have had to catch up on a bit of 'shut eye' too, after that marathon.

Looks like you're heading off for more fun soon, up the Haunted Creek! Hope the weather holds out for you!

Looking at the Middle Earth meet-up. Would love to catch up with you guys up there, and the Banana Benders, but unless I can get away on my mid-year holidays one day early, on Thursday night, it would be not worth the effort. Even if I did, I wouldn't get there till Saturday arvo.

Might be doing this other trip up to Innaminka yet. Will have to make a call to see if my mate is still keen.

Yeh will do a quick and nasty to finish off the last two days but day 1 was a long day behind the wheel.

Better to go with your mate to be on the safe side

Coming home is always a drag! Takes for ever, and the fun is all behind you!

Your'e right. It's a bit too far for the time I've got. I'll take it easy and do a gentle wander up north instead. Look forward to taking the truck up through 'the hill'. Its a great drive just up to there, and then for me, the unknown beyond!

Hey Millsy,
The trip home can be fun if your not in a rush.
On our way back we left Harzee & Katie at Quorn. As we drove through Melrose saw a 4wd sign and just had to follow it. :p
Couldn't help ourselves and before we knew it we had found the Bridle Track so took that through to Port Germein.
Easy, great views from this direction but the hill climbs would have been more fun the other way.
Next Time we will do it West to East.

Have fun at Innaminka - Wooky could tell you a few stories round this way from his Moomba days. ;) :D

Great that you made the most of your trip home!

Come on Wooky. We're all ears. Need a few more stories from the bush/outback to cheer us up!

Must remember to add in a couple of hours to the itinerary next time I head up to Port Augusta. Would make the trip more entertaining doing that Bridle Track. Will look it up on the Google.

Its good when you can just head off on the spur of the moment, off the intended route, just to see where the road will take you! Reminds me of a couple of adventures in Sydney. Was quite happy to become lost in driving through. On one occasion with the family heading from Melbourne to Queensland, and on another with my sailing mate coming back from the Nationals at Newcastle. That's when you discover 'interesting' things, and have a bit of adventure on the way.

On the first occasion, heading north, towing a caravan, I took a wrong turn in the middle of King's Cross. Tried to go round the block to get back on to the main drag and ended up in the sleaziest back street of a major city we had ever seen. Some-how got out of the dead end street in double quick time, every-thing still in one piece!

And on the other, heading south through the tunnel across the harbour, towing a double decker boat trailer, again took the wrong turn just out of the tunnel, and found ourselves heading north across the bridge. Back through the tunnel, still no idea, and having wasted 1/2 an hour already, found ourselves 'exploring' large parts of the inner west of Sydney before we stumbled on the right exit to the Hume Highway! I was enjoying myself, but Kevin was becoming a bit frustrated!

Enough of that city stuff. Tell us about what happened up north Wooky!

Cheers, Millsy.

Looking forward to it. Starting to look around for some 'new' rear springs for the bus. A wrecker at Wingfield wants $150 for a set of rear springs. I'll keep looking. No rush.
