Yeah ive been holding off on the mods because if the starting issue turned out be a non fixable and/or expensive i was contemplating towards the end of putting her to greener pastures lol.So the wheels are in motion now to set the rig up..:D
I know what you mean mate - I held off on all my top quality Pajero mods also for a while when I first got it (it had a rattly engine, which did actually go bang and break)

Once I got my Paj reliable again (engine rebuild) I started on the modding - no point wasting $$* on something that might not keep going or be sold!

*Of course my mods dont actually cost much $$$ but still :D

At least now you know you have nice new reliable parts in the old girl I guess, and as somebody mentioned, future troubleshooting should be easier with spares :)

Yeah its his Family buisness, small workshop with 2 employees, its called " Workshop on Wheels " oakflats.
I think you generally get better service from the smaller guys (they seem to care more about keeping their smaller customer base)

Great to hear that Workshop on Wheels @ Oakflats are oldschool good honest reliable mechanics :)

Excellent news Muz. See, its true. He who perseveres, prospers.

Does your "new" mechanic specialise in lpg and 4wd's? If so see if you can list him in the "find a 4wd mechanic"
