I have been tossing up what car to bring, old faithful to do the harder tracks but man some things were getting tired after years of wheeling OR the new uber comfy touring toy but have to miss the more difficult 4wding:confused::(
Sooo now old faithful has new longer shockers, spring dislocation issue sorted, double cardon front drive shaft, upgraded front brake callipers and rebuilt swivel hubs:D
Bring on the hard technical tracks for old faithful, better bring the A game Brien and Luke;)
Sure you dont wanna bring the urber comfy toy mate ???
Dont worry bout Luke n I , we're always on for the creekbed runs. I might be coming up in the son's 80 to give it a bit of a run;).

No not sure at all but I know I want to do the harder lines in the creek beds because I love technical driving and I sure as hell don't want to knock the D4 around, all I need for the D4 is some sliders and some under body protection so its a tough call but at the end of the day the D1 is for harder tracks and its still reasonably comfortable

And will do it with ease i expect , well most of it anyway ;).
There may a few sections that might get the eyebrows raised mate.

last time there it cost me 2 k to rebuild the front end. Will not be doing the creek runs this time .
The touring track and the "fish bowl" still offer nice driving mate with the odd challenge to keep you entertained.
So does this mean i can add you to the attending list mate and take you off the possibles list ?

Around 2 mths to go folks.
If attending numbers increase between now and the meet i maybe looking for a couple of SA member's familiar with the creekbeds to maybe lead a drive or 2 , and possibly help coordinate a few drives around the park.

Anyone interested ?

Hey Rick, that would be nice mate.
Be great to catch up as has been a while.
Sooooo, will you be bringing the lux liner or, lux liner mk11 ?
The lux liner has gone to a new loving family now mate. Im on a good thing so I signed up a brand new STI enhanced XV subie now for the Cowgirl and even though I’ve seen what they can do in “x-mode” I wouldn’t dance it across the creek beds!!!

I've just checked my calendar to make sure everything is all good for the meet and unfortunately we won't be able to make it as we have one of our best friend's 30th in Adelaide that weekend :oops:
