Yeah it's not bad actually mate. Does get busy holiday times but can find your own little spot.

wont be very many kms but being its all slow work it can be fuel heavy

Hi Stephan, are you 4.2 petrol or diesel.
Mine uses 1/2 tank up, 1/2 tank back and about 1/2 tank on property for 3 day weekend, petro 4.2 carby gq.

How many ltrs of fuel you carry mate ?
I get 140 in the TD cruiser and that normally gets me up There, play for the weekend then home.
Terowie has fuel so you could wack some in there for the drive home on monday if needed mate, just a thought to save bringing jerry's .

97 GQ 2.8L Diesel 80L tank. Thirstier than a camel in/on heat at slow kms and high revs. Might just take a few J cans and transfer to main tank on arrival to site so C of G kept low. Thanks all for comments.

If my V8 Disco can get there , 4wd for a few days and get back to Terowie any car can...
Spoke to the mechanic today, swivel hub was completely striped down, all new everything, again, and I will get the car back tomorrow.
Wheel lifting 4wding fun is so close I can feel the balancing act already, bring it on !!
I will give Luke and Brian a call on Thursday for a meeting spot/time, thanks for the free camp tip, it was on Liza's "to check" list

What UHF channel will be in use for Terowie please?

We Will likely be splitting into a few different groups so a few different chls will be used over the weekend.
I'll be using 32 for the drive up and on the property.
Greenmav will use a chl of his choice for the drive up as Well.
Once up there we'll work out the group's Friday night or sat morning and who's on what chl.

Barra Gorge Thursday night ??95% packed, Disco not spewing out swivel hub grease ( for now ), new hot water unit tested and ready to leave at 6.00am Tuesday.
Outrage is traveling with us and we will catch up the the rest of you unruly mob Thursday and Friday
