I'll have to rule myself out of this 1 as I'm working 12 days on, 2 days off for most of the year until August when I'm getting married so unfortunately not much time for camping/4x4 trips

It doesn't have to be that weekend because places like that will be flat out over long weekends with all the new travelers that can't go overseas.
Any weekend would do people will just need to organise a few days off work.
Let me think, 3 days at work or 3 days off to see some amazing country and meet up with some fellow 4wders??

Better you don't mess with wedding plans, they are the boss on that one, don't be to concerned though, after that expensive day it is always easier to ask forgiveness rather than get permission

Sounds good to me. Visited a few weeks ago. Very lonely, but good fun. Would like to stay for a weekend with company.

So seems to be some interest, my better half has even had a txt about dates (which have not even been considered yet) from a fellow members wife.
Do people have preferences? post up some dates and lets see what suits the majority, I would prefer to avoid the long weekend , I was thinking end June beginning of July

If we can manage it, from experience avoiding a long week end or public holiday seems to be sooooo much easier. You get such a better experience, fun and relaxed time out without all "want bee's."
But I work with just about anything, I think, if I can, AND keep the wife happy.
