ABC News has a story of what I reckon would be anyone with claustrophobia nightmare. Negotiating the track, as they entered the massive trench, the vehicle stood up on its nose and flipped over. Jackson Harvey, who was watching from the sidelines, said "It definitely happened in a bit of slow-mo." "We were all pretty freaked out for a minute, but [our friends] were both out of the car within probably 30 seconds and not a scratch on them. They had to climb out through the window."
Luckily both occupants of the vehicle were able to get out of a window and climb up the edge of the track. A good thing that the rains hadn't been heavy otherwise there could it could have been a lot worse. The roof top tent took most of the damage which enabled the roof to stay intact.
The vehicle was winched out and had surprisingly few dents.
It is a good news story about how much fun the track can be (and expensive!)
