RG Colorado Air Con

Hey guys,
Have recently done my evaporator and re gassed the air-con as it was damaged. Its holding Vacuum and seems to be no leaks or anything. When the air-con is on i can hear it kick in and out but when it kicks in i get extra engine noise in the cab, not a grinding from the compressor, just a noticeable amount of engine noise. Anyone had an issue like this before?

Check the belts?

The engine should increase in rev`s due to the extra load when the A/C is turned on.
If the system is overfilled that can also cause extra noise as the compressor maybe slugging liquid, Very bad for it.
Did you pressure test the system?
Did you change the dryer?
