Hi Gang !

Just got back fro B#MF#CK Sydney, the best view of Sydney in the daytime is the one in your rearview mirror when you are leaving. What a S#!THOLE !, you almost want to do the pope thing and kiss the ground when you cross back over the border .

124 KM"s of Roadworks when you get past Albury a bit . The new growth industry is the STOP and GO people, just too give them a bit of buggery , we called a few, lollypop ladies .They call that a road system, they make VICROADS look like genius's and I would thought that impossible ! The cops have a sense of humour though, we were ushered in to a HUFF and PUFF stop on the way up, you dont have to blow into theirs, you bloody well count out loud towards the machine, how does that work ? Do you fail if you dont count to ten ? Bloody Hell, the crew I was with couldn't scratch themselves and would have to tsake their shoes and socks off to get passed ten, thank God it didn't happen on the way home !

The ODMA FAIR was a bit of a waste of time but attending gets you continuing education points and is a chance to catch up with a few cronies, there are a few wild boys in the Optical Industry when they have their afterdark gear on, a few would make a bullocky blush too !

Well what has been happening on the site in my absence, any juicy gossip ? Anyone upset ? No, that wouldn't have happened because I haven't been on the site. Did James get back okay from Middle Earth okay? Bet Tina was impressed with the the new clutch bill !

All I know is I'm not getting too old for some of this chuggalug nonsense !

Notice how the Sydneysiders don't get on the site and defend what they consider to be the jewel in the crown - only because they know it's true !

Oh on the gay thing , posted your picture of you in your after dark gear, sorry no takers and a few decided to go straight after all !

Croozer & I know all about those road works from going to & from Middle Earth at night time in the pouring with all the Cowboy truckie hoons & they wonder why there is so many accidents involving trucks.
There is no place like home In Victoria!!!

You are lucky, I am married to a Sydney born lady and all my children are born in NSW. The state of origin is on Wednesday night and I can't enjoy it because of being the only Qld'r in the house.

I worked in Sydney for 10 years and glad to sit at home working from a home office fixing computers and get paid for it too

Roads in Sydney and surrounds are appalling!! After going through there to and from Middle Earth i will be going the long way round if i drive that way again!

Now, on Sydney being a sh!thole, i don't agree. I would rather be in Sydney than Melbourne!! But then i would rather be bush than ANY city!! I was born up there in Cronulla so have to show some sort of defence for it. I follow QLD in the state of origin though......:confused::rolleyes::D

Gotta agree with you there, knot gillty
We both love the bush and go out of our way to bypass most capital cities if we can help it, but you gotta go where the work is... and unfortunately that's not outbush over here.
Still - every chance we get we're out there.

Sorry I outlasted your impatience, can't agree with you more about Melbourne ( doesn't that irk you when people agree with you , takes the fun out of fishing !), in fact any city, love the bush and the highlands of the great Northeast. Some nice spots in South Aus too only trouble is over there is if you haven't got a chip on your shoulder, you are a visitor !

Yeah I know - but just can't help myself - I just love fishing for BUSHNUTS as much as he likes fishing for South Aussies.
