Yep been there a few times,Its an open cut mine in the pic below.It shutdown because of the imported slate from India and it killed the market..The tracks are Seasonally Closed so be aware of that..If you come in from Wrens Campground when you go to the other campground,Sorry i forgot its name.The tracks over to the far left will take you to the Waterfall..There are boulders everywhere and Its dangerous for kids and Adults so be careful..Ive been meaning to go back in there and spend some days exploring it more..Sorry i dont have pics of the area.
Swaggie are you thinking of the Mitchells Flat Gorge?
When we were kids we took a hiace van in there with all our cousins in there with us while the Landcruiser sat at home lol
I have been to that area countless times it really is a spectacular valley.
