Wouldn’t this show up on a chemical test tho, that’s what has got me stumped as it shows zero signs of a head besides losing coolant without being able to find the leak
The test detects exhaust contamination of the coolant, but if exhaust is not escaping, it may not show up. However, coolant can still leak into the combustion chamber. When coolant is vaporised and burnt, it has a weird smell. I'm not suggesting you sniff the exhaust pipe, but you can smell it.
There is a coolant system pressure test which can be done, which tells you ther is a leak, but not necessarily where its leaking from.
Aircon refrigerant leaks can be detected with a dye they put is the system, maybe there is something similar that can be done with the coolant system.

Sometimes it's cheaper to take it to a decent mechanic if you can find one that should be able to diagnose the problem so you don't replace parts that are still okay. Because it will start to get very expensive if it's the head.

The fan should roar when first started if it’s locking properly assuming it’s a oil one not a electronic controlled clutch fan
