Is it the DBE180S+ unit ?

I just might be interested in that. Can you tell me at what voltage the unit closes circuit? Reason I ask is my charging system is very low voltage My last isolator wouldn't close the circuit until my charge rate reached 13.7 volts. I'm struggling to get 13.3 volts hence I ended up fitting a Ranox battery booster to my KK to keep the batteries charged while in transit.

They say around 24volts, or 180AMPS +. That's why they named this system DBE180S+, so yes it should be able to handle your power output.

BUMP, just realised that this still has 3 years warranty... I had it for two years only, so yes it will come with the recipt.

Sorry my post probably wasn't written very well. The way a battery management isolator works it that it senses a run condition from your alternator. In other words it cuts the power to the auxiliary battery so that the cranking battery won't get discharged when the vehicle isn't running. There is generally a particular voltage the the management system must receive before it will close the circuit and allow charge to run to both batteries. I have a CRD Prado which has a very low charge rate so my concern IS will the unit you have actually open circuit at my low charge rate 13.2 volts. The closing and also the opening voltage is generally written on the actual unit itself. Could you have a look and see for me?

Just looked at it and it said 12 volts, sorry man. I ran 2 x 12v batteries (main and aux),

I'm guessing the 12 volts is just the indicator to a purchaser that it is for 12 volt units. The change over voltage will be in the vicinity of 13. something. This is the critical factor to me.

I'll try and do a little more net research cus its that kinda unit that would suit my application.

not sure bumping it every day will produce a sale.

Lowering the price may but it may be better to try other avenues of sale rather than just this forum

Just my thoughts

Cheers
