Why do you need a phone? too much wank factor imo its a sickness.
Dont bother with ram x mount on glass, the huge weight of the mount makes it come undone. some glass has more curve and the suction is less and they just never were reliable and overtime always came undone. so i mounted one to the hand grip on piller with one of their bolt on mounts. holds up to offroad tracks no probs.

My $15 ebay cheapy screen mount works fine with my A70 which is a big phone.

Bit of spit on the suction cup & bobs your uncle :p

seen a few p plate drivers that Velcro it( their phone) to the top side of their sun visor, one said it gets around the mobile phone cameras cause they can't see that spot from the high vantage point the cameras are placed and with the visor down they can still read their messages easily blocking the cameras view,...whatever !. lol it don't take a lot to make a multi million dollar service pointless.

FFS, those teens/millennials know how to get away with most things these days.

That's until a set of truck driving lights come through their windscreen

I’ve had a quad lock windscreen mount for about a year now. It’s never come off in the time I’ve had it. I also have the wireless charging head, this works well but if in direct sunlight the phone will sometimes overheat while charging. I just run the aircon via the windscreen vents if needed, seems to do the job.

With the quad lock system, you need to also use a quad lock case, best mounting system I’ve used so far.

Quad lock is awesome - I used to have quad lock mounts on my road and mountain bikes and no matter how bumpy things got, the phone never budged. Even went over the bars a couple of times - I came off, phone didnt haha.

I've just ordered a cheapie clamp-on style phone holder that I intend to trial on my A-pillar grab handle purely for offroad GPS etc. If that doesn't work, I'll be throwing money at quad lock again.
