Pemberton WA

Julie & I went for a weekender to Pemberton in our southwest. We booked a cabin near the beedalup national park, the cabin was surrounded by trees & overlooked a small lake. No phone or TV coverage made sure it was a great weekend. We had a drive through the national parks in the area & was great to soak up the forest

The Beedalup falls was a nice walk not a large falls but very nice all the same

Nice tree lined roads everywhere

Moons crossing

Some of the locals (we heard some banjos over the hills)

Lots of nice lakes everywhere down there

Yeagerup lake you can see the Yaegerup dunes in the background

Love the pics... I have Pemberton on my "must visit" list. My mother was born there ( in the 1920's).

Yeah, Pembertons a great spot, was over there about 16 years ago, if you like fine wood work furniture you could spend up big time - kauri is a beautiful timber .

Climbed the Glouster tree and the other one, would probably be beyond me now, in my geriatric years now .

The up is aborigine for near water I believe

Nice pics mate.
Have been down to Pemberton heaps of times, always looks great especially in winter, when it's wet and real green.
And some of the tracks are keep you entertained as well lol
