Patrol owner fined $4,800 for illegal entry into Mooball National Park

Oops - someone drove their 4WD into Mooball Park in mid October, driving past 3 park closed signs and received a fine of $4,800. The vehicle was found abandoned in steep terrain. The vehicle doesn't look that stuck, so not sure where the owner was or if they were a part of a group.

A fairly good reason not to ignore the road closed signs.

$4800 is nothing, probably costs that to fill up for the day these days

wonder if it was driven in (I assume so if they have fined the driver/owner), or dumped

if he drove past a road closed sign he has no insurance so i hope they were none too gentle skull dragging it out... maybe they should have repossessed it and sold it on to recoup the recovery and any parks repair costs,

Looks to be in pretty good nick. Hard shell rooftop tent looks almost new.
