You seem to have a knack for photos mate (they all look great)

Not sure If I would attempt somthing as deep as the fultons creek crossing myself though hahaha your snorkel definatly helped there (I aint got one)

So for poor people like myself without such a capable 4x4 - keep em coming if you can :D Its probably the only way I will ever get to see those areas hahahaha.

Great stuff, appreciate the time taken to stick them up for everybody to enjoy as well :)

Not all my photo's, but all trips I was on though. Typically, if the car's moving, someone else took the photo, I'd sure hope so anyway :D

Scenery ones are mostly mine, but a few here and there are from others.

A few more. Running out again  Definitely need to get back out to take some more :).

I'm sure you see it 'very' often Matt :). Yeah, the Fraser ones will end up here in the next few weeks.

I'd say neither, primarily because the ruts are false ruts. Sand/Mud, the ruts will hold your car like a rail. Snow, the car will just follow gravity and slide downhill. The grooves in the snow from other cars are just for show really hehe. Closer to wet red clay for the slippery aspect.

Yes, it was very cold, had multiple layers on to keep warm.

Was a 'cool' trip though :D

ahhh, I do know what wet red clay feels like as theres a fair bit of that stuff local to me:

Its pucker factor 10 as your sliding down some hill with no steering and no brakes :D

Nicely explained mate thanks :) Do you guys all run snow chains?

Just had muddies. Couple with all terrains struggled, often saw their car pointing 45 deg from where the car was actually going.

A few tried to go 'up' the snow hill, chains would have got them up there.

Next set, trip to Fraser island. A fair few from this trip will make into the favourite photo's section, well worth the risk of rusting your vehicle out :D

Got a few pics from the Fraser trip; over 2000..., so will post a few of Outrage. BTW, Matt was the 'recovery vehicle' for a number of vehicles on the island, so here are a few pics of Outrage.

Maxtrax would have helped in the sand.
I love driving Fraser. Its easy to forget your on an Island with the size of some of those trees. And as said in someones posts, its work risking rust to go there.

I think 'need' is a strong word Al :p

Would have made it back to the hard stuff with persistence (was getting further each time), but people decided to push me. Was appreciated though, got me there faster :)

That lake Birrabean car park was a laugh though, recover a vehicle, come back, there's another one stuck, recover them, they get stuck again where I started my recovery, so pull them further, come back, there's another vehicle stuck there!
