Our big Simpson trip

My name is Chris, with my friend Maria

We are planning a trip across the Simpson in August 2010
We will be driving a 2005 Triton 2.8 TD dual cab 4WD

Looking at leaving Sydney on or around 9th August going Via

Bourke
Wanaaring
Tibooburra
Cameron’s Corner
Innamincka
Birdsville

SIMPSON

If time allows up to Alice Springs and the Rock.

Then Home via the Flinders ranges and Lake Mungo.

If anybody would like to provide some advice on set up, thing to see etc it would be appreciated.

And most of all if anybody would like to tag along with us, the more the merrier I say.

Looking forward to hearing back, from the experts and new friends.

I have been loking at doing the simpson and a few other places myself in August.
Might tag along if thats ok with you guys???
I am in Melbourne so would have to meet up along the way.
I have 100 Series TD Cruiser with small lift, tyres, bar & winch etc.
Keep in touch and we will work it out is its ok with you.

Might see you out in the Desert somewhere, we will be out there around the same times, depending on flooding and detours.

It would be great to meets up somewhere and travel togother.

I have to be in Warnaring on the 14th to meet some friend for a drink but after that I'm free to go further out west.

I'm in a 2005 triton dual cab
Bull bar,lights, UHF and will be looking to have some fun.

As said before the way I go will depend on the roads being open, just had a quick look and a the lot seem to be close from the Birdsville side east to west.
