midgees are sandflies or so similar its hard to tell the difference little bugs about the size of apen head or smaller make you itch like mad

okay so where set we will stay at cathedral beach so people who dont want to camp dont have to as there are cabins there not cheap but what is on fraser they also have powered or unpowered sites toilets flush and showers free and a good camp kitchen with a fridge microwave a couple of bbqs and sinks for wash up fires not allowed

so has everyone put in for the days off the hi tide is in the morning so we dont have to rush up we will try and be on the barge by 11 oclock looking forward to it remember its 6the 24/ 25/26/27/ that we want off

You do realise that Anzac day falls on Saturday so no public holiday this year.

yep i realize that but if your coming up and yes your very welcome it will be a long weekend wont it so the title anzac day long weekend i thought it was pretty clever this is open to anyone who would like to come along

hi guys . not sure if i'll come as you know i just got off her.
for those that want some advice on the repellant to use , at moment the little blitters of all size & species don't like the tropical strength aerogaurd. in 7days/night my mate & i used 1 1/2 cans (large) worst were the horse flies. when they landed on you it was very brief , some didnt even land . no ,i didnt try other brands but you know who did ,the back packers . they weren't happy with there choices.
