If I wan't going to Melbourne this weekend, I might have made this, as the weekend after I'm 95% doing a run ACT, Sydney, north coast and up to Brissy, so would have been a very easy thing to drop in for a camp.

Greatly enjoyed the first NSW Earth meet here in May, 2016.

Have you still got the white Pajero Les?

No.
I wish I could have kept it, but in the end it was just one too many 4WDs in the driveway, think it went a month or three after the Turon trip.
Went to first to see from ad on Gumtree (not the bloke on the oil rig, or fighting the Taliban, lol).

It was very capable, comfortable (suspension seats ), a bit thirsty (13/100 hwy) and small fuel capacity, so the Ranger won hands down in how I've set that up for big trips.

Got back all the little costs I spent on it to make it good / reliable again (clutch plate/ pressure / master / slave, alternator, front end bushes / shocks, $ for the bit of personal mucking around with little panel / paint).
