Guy guys anymore info on the trip plan
just been talking to my wife and she doesn't think the kids will last the full trip in the car so looks like there out .
but I was wondering where the first two nights camp would be I remember talking to someone saying first night would be jindy second night would be Tom groggin if so the misses said she might come for those two nights then head home with the kids as we head for the hills
Any info would be great so I can work out if they can join us or not
Cheers

Kate and I are pretty keen but since the Collie wont have much in the way of mods by then i doubt it will handle the tracks that could need flex, clearance, lockers or bash plates so we may make our own way down through it and stick to the fairly easy main trails.

i did this trip way back in a pathfinder with a 2 inch lift and AT's
There shouldn't be anything stopping you
Says me now with a 3 inch lift and 35 inch tyres ( well when it has the chassis transplant anyway!)

looking at the roster now
having spent the previous month in close contact with MrsC on holidays she may want me out of the house!

I'll be coming on this one. Missed out last year and the trip looked awesome. I'll be doing Sunday arvo to the following Saturday morning. Are the dates confirmed?

So may have to hand the reins over. Looking like work shipping me out to Darwin for November.
So this puts me in the doubtful side.

Since I pretty much missed 90% of last years run due to owning a jeep, i'd be keen to replicate some of last years tracks, or at least the start of the run would be the same as last years plan. Anyone that did last years run, could you give me a bit of feedback on the following tracks.

1) Saturday night, Mckillops Bridge camp
2) Sunday, Deddick Track to Jacksons crossing camp
3) Monday, Jacksons crossing, through Buchan and Ensay, up to Omeo for restock if required, back down to Marthavale Hut Camp
4) Tuesday, Through Dargo and Billy Goats Bluff, camp at Arbuckle Gorge.
5) Wednesday, Caledonia River Track, Howitts plain, King Billy, camp at Lovicks Hut.
6) Thursday, through Eight Mile Gap and into Sheepyard Flat Camp

I did King Billy, zeka spur down into wonangatta a couple of years ago. It was a good trip. King Billy was rocky and rough as. I think we were averaging about 7km an hour. We had an 11 month old with us though and were going slow to avoid shaken baby.
