hey guys - how come the cruiser had to be winched up the hilll ?
There was actually two of them.

To keep the state rivalry alive, I’ll just say that it was, “because Victorians”.:D

Luckily there were plenty of us from NSW and a South Australian there to save the day.:p

Anyone got a gps track for the trip over... We keep talking about it... Just need 36 hour days, 10 day weeks and 6 weeks holiday a year to fit everything in
Which one?
We actually had two groups going at the same time & on different tracks & you drove on whichever one you liked.

A big thanks to Bugsy for the organising and leading... not easy with such a large convoy but it was awesome. A Huge thanks to Kate for our NSW T Shirts, everyone loved them and wore them with pride!!!!
The slow trip home was awesome, thanks to Jaye, Jim, Wang, Bill and Gavo for the company.
I would also like to thank K & M Automotive in Mansfield. I had alternator problems (put a new one in before the trip) and with the help of Bill and Jaye with their solar panels I managed to get to Mansfield to get it sorted. K&M sorted it all out and as it was under warranty they rang my local auto electrician and the whole job was done by that afternoon and zero expense to me. IMO they went well above standard service and I couldn't recommend them highly enough, they are also the local RACV.

Oh and I forgot to mention our close encounter with a Yowie. I had only ever heard of the old bush tales and never really believed any of it.... until we camped at Skipworth. We had a good fire going when it started to rain really heavy. We were all huddled under our awnings watching the fire from a distance when all of a sudden this creature appeared out of the bush.... it just stood near the fire as if to appreciate the warmth during this cold rain storm. I managed to get 1 photo of it but quality is crap cause of the poor light and rain. Has anyone else seen this creature????

Your right! We saw it too.
It appeared to come from the bush near Gavo's wagon.
