Nsw convoy to Otooles Vic big bash 10 year gathering 12/11/17

Alright fellas neally pretty much got it all sorted will post up itinerary tomoz just comfirming with Brownie cant wait im planning the trip down there from the 12/11 till 19/11 then Richard Lowe is planning a trip back too NSW . We are going too incorporate this thread with the 4x4 earth forum trip section so should get some good numbers i going for less iconic harder tracks thiis year however if people want the iconic tracks we can split the group and meet at camp each evening. As long as everyone 1 is up for whats become an annual massive night at Dargo Hotel beware its ugly but fun .

Scuzzy will be on this trip for 1 week and he might be bringing another vehicle. I might be bringing another vehicle as well just waiting to get closer to the date to see if he can get the time.

Things are looking up for me. A major roster change at work in October was getting in the way of me organising leave, but it just got pushed back to the 26th of November, so my leave request is in.
I'm 90% sure I'll be good for the whole drive now, and if not, I've still got plenty of time to duke it out with them.

on most trips I plan, $1 per klm covers mostly everything except major mechanical breakdowns and most times come home with change

G'day Noel, according to google it is 821k's to o'tooles via highway (from Sydney) so say 1700k's return + side trips roughly 2000k's all up - ( depending on fuel useage probably around $400 - give or take ).....Jim

Holy crap, they didn't even take a day to get back to me with the approval.

Edit: To be clear, I'll be off from the 11th to the 23rd, but it'll depend on what the wife has on if I'll be able to do the slow drive home. If I can, I'll have to split from the rest on the Thursday.

Quick update, 4 vehicles confirmed with maybe 2 more.
At this stage we aren't 100% sure on meeting with you guys at Dargo, but maybe somewhere closer to Otooles.

We will be having a little pre trip catch up later this month to discuss options and will update you guys when we confirm our plan off attack.
One thing for certin tho, would love to roll into Otooles with the NSW crew as think it would be great to have both states rock on in together.

Yep, a lot of people this trip for sure. Should be good, plenty of action and banter. Dunno if we will fit everyone in the obligatory Dargo Hotel photo, get the wide angle lens out for that one. Can't wait! It's been far too long since a good trip like this. New tyres go on the zook today, looking forward to that. Gotta start planning my route south aswell, probably have to stay 3 nights before I get to the Thredbo area, see how I feel.
