Just a heads up, the climb up Burgoynes from the Licola Rd heading west is pretty chewed up. We managed with experienced drivers in lsd vehicles with flex but one lower flex vehicle had to winch. We done the main climb up but turned around due to a broken engine mount causing a fan to jam and lead to overheating. Cheyne's bridge the next day was fine.
Butcher Country, Butcher Country Link Tk (bit of a detour we went down and then back up it), Black soil, difficult but all drivable (assuming no rain, a lot of red soil through there) but again rough and steep.
Out of everything we did (Mansfield to Craigs hut, Bluff, Lovicks, King Billy, Butcher, Butcher Link, Black Soil, Mt Margaret, Burgoynes East, climb up Burgoynes West (and back down as mentioned), Morning Star, Army, Deep Ck 4 & 1. The climb up Burgoynes we ranked the hardest part of the trip.
